The Wilkswood Reggae Festival 2018
Welcome to the Wilkswood Reggae Festival website. Held in the lush, green Purbeck countryside on the outskirts of Swanage in Dorset, the third Wilkswood Reggae Festival will take place from Friday July 20th to Sunday July 22nd 2018.
The 2017 festival saw some of the best reggae acts from the UK and abroad perform across three stages – including headliners Brinsley ‘Aswad’ Forde, Tippa Irie, Mad Professor, Janet Kay, Channel One Soundsystem and Prince Fatty – as well as additional performance stages, soundsystems, street food stalls (including the famous Jerkshak Caribbean cuisine and a wood-fired pizza van) and bars serving ice cold Red Stripe, craft ales, local cider and rum cocktails!

Peace dub & harmony in the woods by the sea!
The Wilkswood Reggae Festival is first and foremost a family-friendly festival and there is plenty to keep the kids entertained with a dedicated play area, the leafy Dingly Dell featuring storytelling and music and the hugely popular hay bale castle. To encourage the family atmosphere, we offer reduced prices for children up to the age of 17 and under-threes are free!
Organised by Dubwood Productions – a joint enterprise between the Scott Arms pub in Kingston and Bournemouth’s Dubheart collective – the festival takes place at Wilkswood Farm and ticket price includes full admission and camping for three nights.
Artists Beware – Phishing Scam
A number of music festivals here and abroad (including the Wilkswood Reggae Festival) have been exploited in an email phishing scam. The emails are being sent to artists offering them a performance slot at the festival with details of a fee and travel costs. The scam uses spoof email addresses but appears to come from the festival organisers.
Neither the Wilkswood Reggae Festival nor the festival organisers, Dubwood Productions, will book artists and offer performance fees in this unsolicited way. PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY SUSPICIOUS EMAILS; IF IT SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS!
The 2018 Lineup will be announced in due course
Wilkswood Reggae Festival features
live music, soundsystems, selectors, deejays,
acoustic acts, poets & comedians .

Two of reggae’s best-loved and longest serving artists will take to the main stage together at this year’s Wilkswood Reggae Festival when Earl Sixteen and Carroll Thompson headline with the Upper Cut Band on Friday night, July 20th 2018.
The identities of a number of music festivals here and abroad (including the Wilkswood Reggae Festival) have been exploited by an email phishing scam. Unsolicited emails are being sent to artists confirming a performance slot at the festival and offering a performance fee and travel costs (in US $).
